PANews reported on November 18 that according to the New York Times, US President-elect Trump is considering a new candidate for Treasury Secretary: including former Federal Reserve Board member Kevin Warsh and Wall Street billionaire Marc Rowan. The outside world originally expected Trump to choose Howard Lutnick, CEO of Wall Street firm Cantor Fitzgerald, or Scott Bessent, former fund manager of George Soros. But Trump has been reconsidering the top two candidates and has slowed down his selection process. He is expected to invite candidates to interview him at Mar-a-Lago this week.
