BitJungle: The Bybit incident was characterized as a supply chain poisoning attack! Safe Wallet's AWS S3 was controlled!

BitJungle discovered that at 1:00 am on February 20, 2025, Beijing time, the app.safe.global front-end code already contained phishing code targeting Bybit cold wallets. BitJungle reminds: It is not ruled out that hackers have mastered more system control permissions of Safe wallets. Hackers are fully capable of conducting targeted phishing attacks or mass phishing incidents against all Safe wallet users. Bybit is just one of the high-value users. Other users may face the same attack risk, resulting in significant asset losses.
