Musk said he had repeatedly turned down Epstein's offers.

PANews reported on January 31 that Elon Musk, in a reply to community users on the X platform, stated that he was "well aware that certain email exchanges with Jeffrey Epstein could be misinterpreted and used to smear his reputation." He also stated that no one had worked harder than him to push for the release of Epstein-related documents, and he was pleased that these documents had finally been disclosed. Musk stated that he had very little communication with Epstein and had repeatedly declined invitations to visit his private island or ride the "Lolita Express." He added that his focus was on the United States prosecuting those who committed serious crimes with Epstein.
