PANews reported on March 27 that according to an official announcement, the DeFi synthetic asset protocol Linear Finance will cease operations. Officials said: "Despite our efforts to innovate and build over the years, the project has struggled to generate sustainable returns. In addition to a brief period of profitability when it was first launched in 2019/20, Linear Finance has faced increasing financial challenges. The project is funded by personal donations from project owners and token liquidations. Unfortunately, this model is no longer viable. Binance's recent decision to delist the LINA token has accelerated these challenges, resulting in a 65% drop in market value and severe damage to the remaining operational runway. As a result, the project's main stakeholders have collectively decided to withdraw and have resigned."
