PANews reported on January 27 that Binance CEO Richard Teng predicted that Bitcoin will reach an all-time high in 2025, citing the regulatory clarity and policy shift in support of cryptocurrencies brought by the Trump administration. Teng said at the World Economic Forum in Davos that Trump's executive order emphasized digital financial innovation, supported stablecoins and rejected CBDCs, while the new leadership of the SEC and CFTC showed the intention to incorporate crypto assets into the financial framework.
Teng pointed out that the growing support for cryptocurrencies from U.S. lawmakers and regulators, coupled with Trump's plan to establish a U.S. strategic bitcoin reserve, has brought "certainty" and "recognition" to the industry. These changes will be a key driver of Bitcoin's resurgence and record highs in 2025.
